Services - Workshops & Training

Better Hearing Australia (Vic) offers single session workshops or short courses for people with hearing loss, family members, friends and other interested people.

Training sessions focus on developing problem solving skills for managing hearing loss, addressing everyday communication difficulties and using hearing aids and other assistive technology.

This aural rehabilitation training covers our 4 Pathways approach:-

• Using hearing aid.
• Using vision (including speech reading).
• Using technology (including use of hearing aids)
• Improving conversation strategies and the role of other people.

We offer training at our Prahran site and in various metropolitan and rural locations in conjunction with other community groups and local services
