Services - Tinnitus Information and Advice

People with tinnitus experience sound that is not present in the environment, in one or both ears or ‘inside the head’. This experience can range from being mildly annoying to highly distressing.

Tinnitus often occurs in conjunction with hearing loss but can occur with normal hearing.

Better Hearing Australia (Vic) provides information on:-

• Understanding tinnitus
• Emotional implications of tinnitus
• Strategies to manage tinnitus
• Tinnitus and hearing loss
• Claims regarding tinnitus treatments and cures
• Resources and referrals

We can also arrange information and education sessions on tinnitus management.
