Fundraising and Engagement Sub-Committee Members
We are seeking highly motivated members to join our Engagement and Fundraising Sub-Committee, to enhance the brand and reach of Better Hearing Australia (VIC). We are committed to creating 3-4 engaging fundraising campaigns a year, that resonate with the community and drive home the importance of supporting those with a hearing impairment.
People with hearing impairment often require a hearing aid and specialist treatment and advice; it is the vision of Better Hearing Australia (VIC) to provide these services to all people including younger and older people, refugees and asylum seekers.
Meeting every 2 months, you will be instrumental to the strategic planning of developing financial targets and strategies for online fundraising campaigns. You will also recruit a volunteer team to assist in the engagement of these activities. You will identify community fundraising opportunities and the potential of partnerships that can provide the resources to support our events.
Better Hearing Australia (VIC) will provide you with dedicated support and learning from our CEO, board members and staff. This invaluable, voluntary position gives you the opportunity to join an organisation at an exciting time that is ready for new challenges in government funding, NDIS rollout and a changing demographic.

Better Hearing Australia (VIC) is an independent, not-for-profit and trusted organization servicing the needs of Victorians. Our mission is to provide information, advocacy and hearing services to assist Victorians with a hearing condition, to achieve full participation in daily life. In 2019 we are seeking to expand our services for Victorians living in the community who are over 65 years.
Our aim in 2019 is to partner with local hearing service providers across Victoria, who share the same ethos as Better Hearing Australia (VIC).

The regions that we are seeking a partnership is in the following areas: Barwon – South Western, Eastern Metro, Gippsland, Northern Metro and Western Metro.
