Services - Workshops & Training

Better Hearing Australia (Vic) offer single session workshops or short courses for people with hearing loss, family members, friends and other interested people.

Training sessions focus on developing problem solving skills for managing hearing loss and solving everyday communication difficulties.

Aural rehabilitation training covers :

using hearing
using vision (speechreading)
using technology
improving conversation strategies

We offer training at our Prahran site and in various metropolitan and rural locations in conjunction with other community groups and services eg. U3A, community houses and Community Health Centres.
