Better Hearing Australia (Vic) receives some government funding. However we rely on the goodwill from the community to support our programs. Your support, regardless of amount, enables us to provide our free services to the community and it makes a big difference to those effected by hearing loss
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. You can forward your donation to Better Hearing, 5 High Street, Prahran, 3181.

Bequests
Legacies and bequests to Better Hearing Australia (Victoria) Inc. are free from Federal Estate and State Probate duties.
With your assistance Better Hearing Australia (Vic) can continue to provide services to hearing impaired persons. When you make the decision to include us in your will please let us know. We would value the opportunity to thank you personally.
The following examples are for your guidance but your solicitor or legal advisor will help you with the appropriate wording:
FORM OF BEQUEST BY WAY OF SPECIFIC LEGACY
I.......................bequeath the sum of $.......................(free of duties) to Better Hearing Australia (Victoria) Inc. of 5 High Street, Prahran, Victoria, and I direct that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer for the time being of Better Hearing Australia (Vic) Inc. shall be a discharge to executors and trustees.

FORM OF BEQUEST TO LEAVE THE RESIDUE OF AN ESTATE
I.......................give and bequeath the residue of my real and personal property whatsoever or wheresoever situated to Better Hearing Australia (Victoria) Inc., 5 High Street, Prahran, Victoria and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other authorized officer for the time being of such Association shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Trustee/s for such bequest.

Giving in memory of a loved one
You can give a donation to Better Hearing Australia in memory of a loved one, or encourage other people to do so. Such a gift will ensure that that person’s memory and legacy continues to support our work and to benefit the Victorian hearing impaired community in the future. Should you desire, gifts given in the name of your loved one can be acknowledged both in our annual report and in the acknowledgments section of our website. Better Hearing Australia also have envelopes that can be used for giving in-memorial donations. If you would like these to distribute or have at a loved one’s funeral or service, please contact us.
