    Better Hearing Australia (Vic) can help with all aspects of hearing loss management and communication. We provide independent advice based on the latest research. Most of our services are free. Our offerings include screening and testing, information about hearing technology and education. Make an appointment at our Prahran office, or throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria at various locations. We also make home visits.

    About hearing loss and how to manage it

    One in six Australians suffers from a hearing loss. By 2050 this will increase to one in four. Hearing loss can make daily communication with the people around you harder. Less than 20 percent of people with a hearing loss have taken steps to deal with the problem. You need the right information from the right source, so that’s why we’ve carefully prepared information in this section to help you manage hearing loss.

    Serving the community for over 80 years, Better Hearing Australia a not for profit charitable organisation is Victoria’s only independent hearing loss and tinnitus management service.

    We are not in the market of selling hearing aids, our professionally qualified hearing advisor team will work with you to understand your individual needs. We will help you navigate your way through the maze of hearing services and technology, and provide tailored support assist you manage your hearing loss or Tinnitus.
